This was a little weekend project, shot in Auckland Domain. Living in New Zealand, one often takes for granted the natural environment that is basically our backyard. Since I drive past this place almost everyday, the original charm of the place had long been lost, nullified by routines. I wanted to rediscover the excitement when I first set foot on this field many years ago. By having the crimson dress in the winter afternoon scene, I was attempting to create tensions between colours, between the softness of the sheer material and the roughness of the leafless trees.
